Faculty Committee on Community and Governmental Relations

Description

Strengthens and evaluates relationships between the University and the larger community; helps make the larger community aware of University activities and resources; enhances community and governmental understanding and support for the University of Utah; informational coordination with deans, directors, departmental and college committees as appropriate; submits reports to the Vice President for University Relations and the Academic Senate.

Membership

One faculty representative from each college/school on campus appointed by the University President with nominations coming from the Personnel and Elections Committee;  one alumni representative nominated by the Director of the Alumni Association; the ASUU Governmental Relations Chair
