Senate Ad Hoc Committee on University Holidays
Committee Description
In October of 2020, the Academic Senate established this Committee to study the issue of what holidays or cultural observances, if any, should be avoided in the scheduling of the monthly meetings of the Academic Senate and to study the larger issue of what holidays should be recognized by the University in terms of the campus being closed. The Committee is charged with submitting a Report and Recommendation to the Senate on before the Senate’s March 1, 2021 meeting.
