Senate Task Force on the Role of Honorary Degrees in a Modern [Contemporary] University
Committee Description
The Senate Task Force on the Role of Honorary Degrees in a Modern University has been assembled with the intent of creating a report on the topic of the current and future roles and practices surrounding honorary degrees. This charge is intentionally broad in scope and the committee has been given the latitude to examine any matter reasonably related to this charge. The Task Force is further charged with submitting a written report summarizing findings, recommendations, and the rationale for recommendations to the Academic Senate no later than December 2021.
