University Research Committee
Committee Description
Seeks to foster research at the University (in the broad sense of creative scholarship) through Faculty Research Grants, Distinguished Research Awards, and Faculty Fellow Awards; receives and evaluates applications and nominations for these grants, fellowships, and awards; reports to the Vice President for Research.
Membership
Nominations provided by the Personnel and Elections Committee, with most representation coming from the arts and humanities areas and lesser from the engineering and sciences areas. Additional representation from specific colleges/schools must be requested by the committee to the Personnel and Elections Committee in the spring of each year.
